Mommy Remastered

Alright, I can't quite create magic with photoshop the way Andrei or Grigory and quite a few others do but then recently, I tried coloring a very old pic of my mom taken during her wedding. It was in black-and-white and kind of worn out. Now, the color version does'nt look too bad to me...Hehehe....

Anyway, it will be a surprise to her when I visit home next week and I'm sure she would be glad to see a remastered herself! Yes, I'm on for a vaction home :O) BTW I would also like to tell you that last week I finished rigging and skinning my cow model. Feels so good to see my own character in action! You guys take care!!

It will be a surprise, yes!!The face looks very natural and the veil seems very light. Was it really green?Or did you choose the color you liked?Over here people-women- dress white.Sometimes other colors. But mostly white. It's such a bore...Have a nice week and visit!:-)

Thanks Belinha for your comment. Its actually not a veil but a saree which is the most common women's attire in India...Hehehe..I have absolutely no idea about the actual color. Just went ahead with that combination...Hope its not too bad!

Take care

hi jafar,...not bad
photoshop starting days i also did like that. first add some depth on B/W photo then do coloring,....and use layer mode techniques or if contrast is good with actions also can get nice results.
Nice try :)
